STEM project for Russell Group University
As part of our continuing role as RIBA Client Adviser for a Russell Group university, we are soon to finish work on a major STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) project, producing an academic brief for a new development.
The new building will house a central teaching and learning facility with the aim of pulling together undergraduate teaching from across the campus. By sharing one site they hope to encourage collaboration and promote new cross-disciplinary learning opportunities. Smart technology, embedded within the development, brings learning to life for the students.
The building is being constructed on a brownfield site on the edge of campus. It will include teaching rooms and social areas for the students. The build is likely to commence within the next two years.
