RIBA Client Adviser for Greenwich school

Ruth Butler Architects are RIBA Client Adviser for the Royal Borough of Greenwich.  A recent project we’ve been involved with is the build of St Mary Magdelene Through School on the Greenwich Peninsula.

The £45 million school will cater for up to 1,646 children and employ around 200 staff.  It is set to be finished in 2020.  The school will be the new grounds for St Mary Magdalene and will take children from the age of three to 19.

The development is being built on land roughly the size of three football fields and includes sports facilities such as a full-size running track, an all-weather sports pitch, and a four court indoor sports hall.  The project is being delivered by Penoyre & Prasad Architects.

Here’s some recent photos showing the steel frame complete and first windows being installed.
