Sustainability
My projects include the sensitive refurbishment of vulnerable historic buildings and a motivation to deliver low-carbon design. From the leading edge PassivHaus standard to advice on flood mitigation or thermal improvements to listed building, my clear thinking provides solutions to complex problems.
Recent heritage and environmental projects include: Hampshire PassivHaus; Flood mitigation works at Creek View; listed building applications including Grade II-Listed Barbican Estate; Outdoor Learning facilities at St John’s School.
I am a member of the Passivhaus Trust and the AECB (Association of Environmentally Conscious Buildings).
Passivhaus buildings provide a high level of occupant comfort while using very little energy for heating and cooling.
