RIBA Guerrilla Tactics Conference 2017

RIBA Guerrilla Tactics conference 2017Ruth will be speaking at the RIBA’s Guerrilla Tactics Conference CPD Day (see here) on Wednesday 15th November and will also be a mentor in the speed-mentoring event the evening before.

Guerrilla Tactics is an annual two day event. It is targeted at architects from small and medium-sized practices. The intention is to support them to develop the essential business and management skills that they need to succeed.

The first day on 14 November is a themed conference ‘The Power of Small’ curated by Creative Director David Miller.  The CPD day on 15 November aims to provide high-quality learning on professional and business development issues and offer training and networking opportunities.  Ruth will be conducting a training talk on the RIBA Client Adviser role alongside Nigel Maynard of Mace Group.

In their talk you can find out the what, why and how of becoming an accredited RIBA Client Adviser. What does the role entail and what are the core skills required? Why might the additional consultancy role benefit your practice? How might it enable you to get paid for stage 0 and potentially 7? Not only furthering the profitability of your business, but also allowing you to demonstrate expertise and develop a deeper understanding of your client base.

Tickets are on sale now or if you already have a ticket, come and say hello to Ruth at the conference or speed-mentoring event.
