Passivhaus is the fastest growing energy performance standard in the world. The standard ensures a high level of occupant comfort while being very low energy; it can be applied not only to residential dwellings but also to commercial, industrial and public buildings.
Come and look around our self-build passivhaus family home:
Winner of 2017 Wood Awards and 2018 Structural Timber Awards, shortlisted in UK Passivhaus Awards 2018 and CIBSE Building Performance Awards.
Featured in ES Homes & Property, Grand Designs Magazine and the i newspaper.
Join us for The Road to Carbon Zero talk (2.30pm Friday only), building tours, performance data and to find out how much Passivhaus actually costs.

Getting here
Arriving by train:
The nearest railway station (10 minute walk) is Emsworth on the south-coast line. If arriving from London, I recommend taking the fast train to Havant and a 10 minute taxi. There is a taxi rank at the station (or call Andicars 023 9235 0350). Ask the taxi driver to approach Convent Lane from the south, via Havant Road (no vehicular access from north).
Arriving by bus: 700 Coastliner service (Portsmouth – Brighton)
Arriving by car:
There is no car access to the house (except electric car*). Please park in an adjacent street (no parking restrictions) and walk the short distance up the lane to our house. Best to approach from Havant Road to the south, we are the house with the orange front door.
* Recharge point available for electric car. Please email to book.
